Our Story

Attic Trash Vintage started with an angsty teen and a camel Samsonite Make-up case.

As a kid, owner Rachel Palko, started collecting kitschy items with her mother at estate sales outside Nashville, Tennessee, which continued to fill her homes as she moved between St. Louis, Thailand, Knoxville, and eventually to her new home in Kentucky.

At the insistence of her now partner, Rachel started selling vintage on Etsy out of their tiny one car garage in Lexington, Kentucky in 2017. Since, Attic Trash Vintage began selling at local events in Lexington and Louisville before settling into larger markets like Vintage Market Days across Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina and Tennessee. They maintain a clothing booth at The Domestic in Lexington, Kentucky. In 2020, Attic Trash Vintage started branching out into vintage event rentals for local events with milk glass vases, brass candlesticks and more.
